The characteristics of Russian sturgeon caviar

Russian sturgeon caviar is characterized by its creamy and delicate consistency with subtle saltiness as well as buttery and nutty hints. The flavors differ and depend on the fish species such as Beluga, Russian sturgeon and Starry sturgeon with each having an unforgettable taste. Only the sturgeon roe can be referred to as caviar. The black gold
Real caviar or "black gold" as it is often referred to is cleaned and salted roe of the sturgeon. Because of salt, eggs, also called as "grains" or "pearls", get their remarkable dark color.
There are three types of sturgeon caviar named after their origin:

Russian sturgeon
Sturgeon caviar grains are silver-gray to black with a slight golden shimmer. They are 3 mm large and such caviar has a nutty flavor.

Beluga
With a diameter of 3.5 millimeters, the grain of Beluga caviar is the largest of the three varieties and also the most exclusive. The caviar taste is mild.

Starry sturgeon
Caviar lovers particularly enjoy the Starry sturgeon one because of its strong spicy flavor. In terms of color, the caviar is represented by small, 2-millimeter pearls of all shades of grey.

Roe is gently removed and shortly afterwards the sturgeon returns into clean and oxygen-rich water of the facility.
In order for caviar to be kept as long as possible, it is vacuum-sealed. The tin can protects sturgeon caviar against light and air and therefore ensures high quality of a product. An unopened tin of Russian sturgeon caviar has a long-shelf life and can be kept for several months if cooled appropriately. After opening it is kept fresh for a few days at +4 ° C.
