Aromatic caviar from the sturgeon
Diamant Line caviar extracted from the sturgeon is characterized by a strong and spicy aroma. Compared to other caviar varieties, the grain size of this delicacy is relatively fine at 1.5 to 2 mm. This characteristic, together with the firm casing, ensures a pleasantly strong mouthfeel. The color of the Diamant Line sturgeon caviar is intense and dark, ranging from grey to blue-black. When served on light-coloured plates and dishes, it provides an intense contrast that is also pleasing to the eye.
Sustainable aquaculture
Our Diamant Line caviar comes exclusively from breeding in a sustainable aquaculture. Here, the sturgeons, which are considered hardy and modest, are fished after only 5-7 years. This makes sturgeon caviar comparatively inexpensive and well suited for beginners to this tasty delicacy (Sturgeon caviar is also available in glass tins).
A special treat
Thanks to its strong aroma, Diamant Line sturgeon caviar can be combined well with wines or champagne with a strong flavor, without being drowned out. This delicacy is particularly popular as an aperitif, as the icing on the cake at a buffet or as a fine snack between meals. We recommend enjoying the Diamant Line sturgeon caviar with a mother-of-pearl spoon, because metal spoons can change the delicate and fine notes in an unfavorable way.
