Dear friends, caviar lovers and customers,
just over 10 years ago, we founded Erste Kaviar Company EKC as a family business. Our goal then - and still is today - was to offer first-class caviar at reasonable prices. We consider ourselves caviar enthusiasts and already had many years of experience with caviar when EKC was founded. This includes not only the exclusive sturgeon caviar, but also all the delicious alternatives from salmon or trout.
What started as a family business 10 years ago is today an internationally active company with more than 30 employees. Last year, we produced almost 200 tons of red and black caviar, as well as creams and salads, in over 2,500 square meters. Our buyers are in close contact with the leading aquaculture facilities in Europe, North America, the Far East of Russia and China. Our products have a loyal fan base among gourmets around the world, but can also be found in specialist shops, as well as leading restaurants and hotels.
In the future, we would like to regularly update you on EKC here. Even more, we want to introduce you to the topic of caviar, its origin, its processing, and many delicious recipe ideas.
